Pursue God's Mission By The Power Of The Holy Spirit

In 1 Peter 4:15-16, we are reminded by the Apostle Peter to make sure that even in our suffering, we get to glorify God. This is the same concept that Paul, as a Spirit-filled man of God and his team, enacted upon. They did what God wanted them to do. Later on, the town clerk, an unbeliever (Acts 19:35) spoke, and it seemed that he had no issues with Paul’s team, saying that they were “neither robbers of temples nor blasphemers of our goddess”. He eventually dismissed the crowd, and this miraculous interjection showed how God was still in control over this situation. A Spirit-filled man like Paul will feel secure as he trusts in God’s supernatural protection for His purpose and for His glory!
