To be influenced or positively impacted by a friend, we must know that person intimately. The same can be said with Jesus. Unless we are close to Him and know Him personally, our lives will not truly be changed by Him and for Him. The way to create intimacy with Him is by knowing Him and developing a Christ-focused relationship.
