Traits of a truly successful man (1) He’s got God’s Spirit and he’s filled with spiritual wisdom and when Ardy is saying, you know ang sarap palang mag meditate, ngayong lang niya naintindihan yung meditation eh, and some of us we rush of and we don’t really understand it, when you begin to wallow in God’s word, Collosian 3:16 says, Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you. What will you gain? all wisdom and you will be able to make decisions and we also saw Daniel, the king offered him lots of money and did he accept that? No, he said,those are not the things that motivate me and we ask you what motivates you and I said, "If we come to Valle Verde or Sucat very early 9:30 you might have a million bucks waiting for you. For the two Sundays now, madaming maaga ngayon a baka totoo yung sinasabi ni Bro. Ricky, they come and some have come and some now have the potential to make one million pesos because they talk to me because I teach them how to meditate on God’s word. so, kung pera lang ang nagdadala sa iyo believe me after a while the bible clearly says, "Money never satisfies" where do you find tha Ecclesiastes, the riches man in the world Solomon sabi niya money never satisfies, you got five thousand will that be satisfied enough? you want ten after you get ten, you want fifty when you get fifty you want a hundred, once you got a hundred, you want a million you think million can’t buy anything, can’t even buy a big house, two million and so forth and so on it will never satisfy you and so if you’re working or motivated by that may I really suggest to you, you change your motivatoin and if God gives you money praise the Lord and then you use it wisely and they like Peter like Ardy don’t be afraid to speak for God before important people like Daniel speak about Jesus Christ tell others many are amazed that Hey! we make a presentation kasama si Jesus eh, when you talk about office matters and so forth puede band ipasok si Jesus don? ofcourse people hired me I’ll give them major seminars on.. I’ll talk to all the HR people I talk to them about work, I get it from the bible, I talk to them about Jesus some will be turned of but the majority depends on how you say it they will Hey! dito ka nga magbigay ka ng messages sa kompanya namin kailangang-kailangan nila because the people understand the real truth they become real workers, they’ll be more satisfied. You know if have a company hundred ang tao, hundred people makakuha ka lang ng 20 na kristiyano mahahawa na yun eh konti-konti, department by department before long you get fifty percent Christian yung talagang solid you will watch your company zoom up okay and you have heard the testimony they are very very real God blesses those who honor him, sometimes hinde natin maintindahan we result to what? cheating and tax evation and stuff like that kalokohan. If you really are with God, the people who know their God they displays strength and take action. Here are some of the benefits of meditation. What are some of the benefits? (1) in Psalm 1, Joshua 1:8, God guarantees if you meditate on the bible you will become successful and prosperous in all that you do wether it’s your sex life or your business life or your school and so forth and so on, (2) You will gain wisdom in daily living everyday if you read God’s word everyday he has something to say to you and to me and to whoever and you will notice sapul na sapul kung ano yung kailangan mo for that day in LORDS prayer sabi, give us this day our daily bread many people think of that as pandesal only but you know the real daily bread, hinde yung daily bread na booklet ha, the daily bread that we need is spiritual we need it everyday at kung marunong kang bumasa ng bible then I give you the formula that you should read Psalms and Proverbs like today what should you have read.Psalm 78 tapos Proverbs 28. Believe it or not I used this n my message today so in Psalm 78, God said, Fathers tell your children about the great facts of God so that the generation to come might know them and their children recount them to their children and so forth and so on and I used that today to illustrate a mojor truth in business. So God speaks to us and here is the promise that I saw in the bible, you want to be very rich, you want God to bless you here’s one way wisdom and daily living. What’s that? Proverbs 28:27, He who gives to the poor will not want but he who hides his eyes from their want will have many occurs. This verse says if we give to the poor God will bless us. We want to encourage you and to give you opportunity and those who like to talk about that see me later, infact you might become very surprise does God says you give God blesses you so you will get wisdom in daily living. If you meditate on God’s word you will have victory over sin, wheres that found? Psalm 119:9&10, How can a young man keep his way pure? by keeping it according to thy word. I seek you with all of my heart do not let me stray from your commandents. If you have God’s word very close to you heart everyday you will have victory over sin just think of Jesus remember he was tempted by the devil three times in one shot Matthew 4, How did he conquered temptations? He qouted scriptures Deutronomy to be precise He qouted three verses from Deutronomy the first one is Deutronomy 8:3 sabii ni Jesus, "Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God that’s why on our meditation sheet we say ponder every word, pagisipan mo go slowly don’t speed read God’s word and what you will have is victory over sin ans if you are struggling with the sin ayaw matanggal kunyari the sin is adultery tumingin ka sa likod ng bible tingnan mong adultery may concordance don sa likod ng bible nyo eh, adultery may mga verses dun puntahan mo yung mga verses na yun basahin mo, memorizen mo, if that does not work one of the assurance way that I know you put Romans 6 and Romans 8 in your heart kung ano man yung kasalanan mo mawawala yan. Romans 6, what shall I say them, shall I continue in sin, anong answer May it never be. Have you memorize chapters in the bible? You don’t have to just read it everyday after a while kabisado mo na. Victory over sin you will have it and then the next one is answered prayers. Would you like your prayers to be answered? Absolutely then know this verse John 15:7, see I don’t have my bible I’m just reciting it to you. What does that verse say? John 15:7, If you abide in me and my words abide in you ask whatever you it shall be done on you John 15:7. Do you believe that? So last year I said, "Lord God mag-teten years na ako away from secular work this is my anniversary month May. May 1987, I resigned, I was the youngest retiree of all and sabi ko kay God last year, God I expand my horizons, expand my visions like Jabus, expand my teritory, I want to do something for you I was so limited in my myopic yung vision eh so God restore me dream my friend dream expand your horizon sand I’ve been dreaming now I go to Angeles, galing na ako sa Daraga, sa Bicol, nag-pupunta ako sa Cagayan de Oro. Then this year God has given me lots of ideas, how I can implement all of this dreams and you know that vision is irradicate disease in this Philippines kesa yung mga upper scale kailangan may kaya. I believe before I stand here before the 21st century is over some of you will remember this words because God guaranteed and all we need to do is execute, whatever you wish it shall be done and the Lord does my wish, I want to irradicate disease in this land physical and spiritual double barrel, the last one is you have real joy, si Ardy tatlong oras hinde niya namalayan parang 15 minutes lang eh because there’s joy in his heart and he came up with conclusions that it takes years for people to understand but when God speaks to you and He will if you want Him too then the king of kings says to you do it. Today we will share with you two others extremely important alam na natin si Daniel now we are in Chapter 6, moving right along what else do you need, what else can we learn from Daniel about being a successful man, the traits of a truly successful man Part II chapter 6, let’s read. If you really want to be successful honestly you write your name down on a piece of paper and you write your age, where you’re working give me a telephone number where I can reach you and tell me your dream what do you want and I’ll call you one of this days or Ardy will call you or somebody an angel might call his name might be Johann. This is were success begins, it begins with the dream then God will take that. Daniel 6, what else can we learn, let’s start reading from v. 1, It pleased Darius to appoint 120 satraps to rule throughout the kingdom, [2] with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss. [3] Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. In other words here is a successful man the king appointed him and he began to distinguish himself. How? According to the NIV by his exceptional qualities now that is not an exact translation, in the NASB the more precise one word for word translation, he began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and the satraps because he posses an extra ordinary spirit in other words it was not his qualities he had an extra ordinary spirit and the king plan to appoint him over the entire kingdom. So si Daniel as we said, the successful man he has the holy spirit and once you have the holy spirit, one of the major characteristic that you have the holy spirit is that you will begin to distinguish yourself. Remember Romans 12:2 says Romans 12:2, And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so si Daniel he distinguished himself. Many times tayo hinde malalaman ng tao na Kristiyano tayo by the way we act, by the way we talk, they would never suspect you are a believer. Si Daniel alam na alam nila and so because he had distinguished himself because he had an extra ordinary spirit the king plan to promote him siya na ang magiging big boss. How many have been promoted in the past year? You know once you get promoted, do you notice something funny, what happens with the guys you leave behind? Dati barkadang barkada kayo then you get promoted then what happens? Awayan na, is that your experience? Did you notice that, pag ikaw na ang boss many people will talk against you, every mistake that you make, ganyan kaliit biglang lumalaki and your good friends after you get promoted ayaw ka na nilang samahan, ganon din ang nangyari kay Daniel. What did they do, v. 4, Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him. What is a continuing trait of a successful man in God’s eyes? He is a man of integrity, what does it mean to be a man of integrity? Hinahanapan nila ng butas in other words they could not accused him why? Because he was faithful, he was not negligent, very simple. In God’s economy hinde ka naman kailangang very very intelligent to promote you, we can get promoted. What does God look for, those who are faithful, those who are faithful to the point that even in the little things okay siya. If you are a boss you can try this experiment in your office, this is an experimental I did a long time ago in the secular word. Integrity means even if your boss is not around you will do your best, it does not matter who he is looking. So, here’s the experiment, if you got people in the office, you announce one week before, " I’m going on a three week vacation" and you tell them in advance then you go on vacation, before you go one night you put cameras on the work place and then you watch it everyday. What do you think you will find. Here is what we discovered. On day 1, they can’t get accustomed to it yet na wala ka ron ang feeling nila baka biglang bumalik eh, hinde pa sila sigurado na nag-umpisa na yung three weeks mo, so they’re still going about their usual way, then the whole day passes by and you’re not there, you don’t see them. Day 2, what do you think happens? When they know for sure that you’re not there, the terror is not there anymore what do you think happens? Our office started at 7:30 everybody was there at 7:20 because I was there at 7:15, now on day 2 what do you think happened? The first thing that happened, the seven thirtiers now became eight and you observe the behavior no good and starts very very slowly. On the third day, I got shocked some people who have always been coming in on time now came in on 10:00 why? When the cat is way the mice will play, is that true? It’s true. A man of integrity, it does not matter who is watching, he’s there, he’s doing his job to the best that he can and he will not cheat, he will not use company for his personal used. Put your finger there go to Colossians 3:22-24

Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. [23] Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; [24] knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. Therefore if you are a believer, even though your boss is away what should you do? kaya even the pagan world they like me to speak to their workers. I tell them about this things these are the right word ethics people don’t do hunky funky. Now when you submit a report to the boss, do you prefer? Yeah! Now think of this every report you write this no longer to your boss it’s not to Jesus. If you read you really twice over before you submit to your boss, kay Jesus four times, you got to be doing your best. You don’t have to be very intelligent, sipagan mo lang God will take care of the rest no corruption. Ask yourself this question, suppose I search, somebody searches, somebody really gets into your life will he find corruption?… Go back to Daniel, a man of integrity. There are many people like that, in this room I know a lot of people I know many of you and there are many people here right here that I would entrust my life to. Jimmy Ang is one of those people, I know he is a man of integrity, Nelson Dy, I can trust that man, he’s a man of integrity, he speak the truth, I know Ardy I would trust him with my life because I played golf with him and I know him very well. Dito sa atin sa CCF madami pong ganon and if you are a man of integrity believe me you are in the work place, you will be seen by your boss whether you believe it or not. So, we strongly suggest, what should we do? for you to be men of integrity I have discover that this is much better inheritance to live with your kids than anything else. Let them learn that you are a man of integrity. Value integrity, if you ever see a Christian or a younger Christian or your kids, they stand up they have integrity what should you do? blow them out, praise them, we want to lift up that value and we’re trying to influence Master’s Academy to have a different grading system. Have integrity, do what you suppose to do, even if your boss is not looking because your real boss is He see you and he’s watching you everyday. One of the things that you can do to learn integrity, I discovered that if we cheat God, we’ll cheat everybody else. Therefor we will now teach you a method of developing integrity, how? You come every morning before God, and then you start your integrity with God, be honest with God. many times we’re not honest with Him. You know what confession means? Confession means I agree with what God says about me. When I read the bible binasa mo yon at nakita mo pride is a bad sin, sometimes we think ay si ano proud, ay ganon proud eh ikaw, proud ka ba? Many times we skip ourselves eh yun ang problema natin so again if you’re reading the way I have taught you, Proverbs 28, says, He who conceives his transgression, what will happen to him? He will not receive mercy. Be open with God, lay your problem before him, lay your struggles before him, lay your sin before him, agree with him, yes Lord I am a proud man, I am this, this and this. Every morning, if you are right with God then you will be right with others, do that meditate on God’s word and one of the principles there in meditation, don’t look at somebody else. Whenever you attend bible study huwag ganon ang iisipin mo lagi, when you are meditating or when you are here in this class, whom are we dealing with? You not your neighbor not anybody else, you, you have to ask yourself, am I a man or woman of integrity, then be honest, then what should you do? change don’t be afraid to change, I’m wrong, let’s change it, be honest. A man of integrity confess, be open, lay down on the table, let God worry about the results, if God is convicting you of anything make it right then you start over, so you don’t have to look back. So if you done anything against anyone here, may utang ka maski gaano kaliit anog gawin mo, one day you woke up and you pay, then walk straight back. Can we agree to do that? and if you meditate day and night I guarantee you like Ardy, like many of you here you will walk as a man of integrity and next week we’ll share with you another secret, another trait, the successful man of God and if we follow all of this, hinde ka naman kailangang college graduate, hinde ka naman kailangang maging zuma cumlaude, we just have God’s spirit, God’s wisdom, meditate on his word day and night and I guarantee you, you will become successful.
