GLC Confers Recognition Upon 717 Graduates

May 15, 2010 was a memorable day for the 717 students of CCF’s Global Leadership Center. It was a much yearned for celebration after almost a year-long preparation and training of leaders. There were 470 Level 2 graduates of CCF St Francis and another 62 came from CCF Alabang. Level 3 produced a total of 185 graduates.

For many, graduation is simply a conferring of degrees and diplomas, but to Christ’s Commission Fellowship members graduation is taking one’s service to the Lord a step higher in terms of competence and commitment. As a person completes the requirements to complete academic level 2, he or she is challenged to start and establish his own discipleship group. In level 3, a graduate is in turn challenged to help each of his or her Dgroup member to start their own Dgroups.

Dr. Ramesh Richard’s commencement speech was a fitting message to all the graduates as he reminded the roles of each and every member of the body. Christ as the head, endowed the church with gifts. Nobody is left out in the giving of the gifts. Those in leadership have the responsibility of equipping the saints to do the work of ministry. As the saints or the members do service the result will be the building up of the whole body.

Among the graduates, several were recognized for their outstanding performance. In Level 2 , 24 students got Honorable Mention, 21 with Honors and 6 with Highest Honors for CCF St Francis. While CCF Alabang 6 got Honorable Mention and 3 with Highest Honors. In Level 3 for CCF St Francis 16 got Honorable Mention, 9 with Honors and 4 with Highest Honors. Pastor Peter Tan-Chi beamed with joy as he gave out medals to these most deserving students.

After the ceremonies the graduates and guests were treated to a hollywood-like grand set-up cocktail. You may watch Dr. Ramesh Richard’s Commencement Speech below.
