Volunteer Ministry

So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly.
Romans 12:5-6

The Volunteer Ministry was formed in response to a need for a more organized system of recruiting volunteers for the different ministries of CCF. We believe that God has given each one of us special gifts and talents according to His grace and should be used for His service.

Purpose

We desire to serve God by providing the different ministries with qualified and committed volunteers to do the work God has purposed for them, by developing and maintaining a database of CCF volunteers, formulating recruitment campaigns, and initiating encouragement and motivational programs to keep our volunteers energized and excited to serve the Lord.

Roles

  • Formulate overall policies, guidelines and procedures with CCF management regarding the identification, selection, assessment and development of volunteers for the various ministries and programs of CCF.
  • Collaborate with the different ministries in the development of position descriptions and other requirements for each ministry.
  • Hold master list of volunteers for CCF ministries and programs and a short list of volunteers for each ministry, including identified set of skills, work schedule availability, and contact information.
  • Develop recruitment programs to encourage members to volunteer in the different programs and ministries.
