Christ’s Commission Fellowship celebrates its 26th anniversary this year, not at the Big Dome in Cubao, Quezon City, but at the St. Francis Square building in Ortigas Center, and at each of the CCF outreach worship centers. Organizers of the event, headed by Pastor Glenn Obligacion of the Exalt Team, are leaving no stones unturned to come up with an exciting program to help every worshiper to be able to apprehend the love and faithfulness of the Lord.
As early as a year ago, CCF made a booking to use the Araneta Coliseum for this year’s celebration. However, due to the recent scheduling of a series of exhibition games by some NBA players the date already reserved for CCF was rescinded to give way to the sports event.
Pastor Peter Tanchi, senior pastor of CCF, chose to look at this development, however, from the perspective of the One who controls every event in the universe. He says our being bumped off from the Big Dome may be from the Lord who may want the money intended for the use of the Araneta to be instead be diverted for the CCF Worship and Training Center construction.
The festive event will emanate from the CCF Worship Hall at the St. Francis building in Ortigas where Pastor Peter will be preaching live and this will be beamed via satellite to the different CCF outreaches all over the country. On top of this a Live Worship Online will be brought across the globe via the CCF Internet Church Ministry services (http://www.ccf.org.ph/stream).
Worship services at CCF St. Francis will be at 8, 10AM, 12 noon, 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30PM. Satellite broadcast will be at 8AM, 10AM and 12 noon for the outreaches while those using the internet will be able to watch any of the 6 worship services live.
This early many are waiting in anticipation as teaser videos feature some leaders and members talk about the impact of the lordship of Jesus in their own lives. Such videos are meant to spur people to reflect on their own stories to cause everyone to exalt God collectively.
